In celebration of scenic beauty of the Columbia River Gorge, the Columbia Center for the Arts will hold its 11th Annual Pacific Northwest Plein Air August 7 - 30 - a series of events featuring the art of painters and writers.

9 (Sun).............. Public reading at CAC at 7 PM

The Pacific NW Plein Air Competition completed works will be available to see from August 7 - 31, 2015 at the Columbia Center of the Arts in Hood River.  You can visit the gallery during regular summer hours from 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM.  The Artists' Reception will be on August 7, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

The Tualatin Art Splash, an annual art show and sale, is coming up later this month on the weekend of July 24 - 26 2015.  Northwest artists will be showcasing their talents in watercolor, acrylics, photography, oil, jewelry, ceramics and more.

Lavender Artists' Awards, Reception, Public Showing & Art Sale this weekend

The Awards Ceremony and Artists' Reception for The Oregon Lavender Paint Out is this Friday, July 10 from 6:00 - 8:30 PM at the Chehalem Cultural Center Ballroom.  Public showing and sale of artists' work is on Saturday & Sunday, July 11 - 12, at the Chehalem Cultural Center Ballroom.
